Australians believe that the Government knew ...
Love it. The AWB fiasco is starting to bite the Liberal Party and Mr Howard's popularity.
I received a phone call a few nights ago asking if I was willing to participate in a political survey. "You bet" was my response. I'm delighted to see that the majority of Australians surveyed actually agreed with me - Howard and his government knew about the corrupt AWB behaviour. Unfortunately I don't think that it will make much difference but it brought a smile to my face nonetheless.

AWB - getting happier every day John
Love it. Mr Howard will be the first Australian Prime Minister to appear before a judicial tribunal for 23 years! History in the making. I hope he has a fun time ...

AWB - the noose is tightening
How does it feel John? Foreign Minister Downer and Deputy Prime Minister Vaile will both appear in front of the Cole enquiry. And you still haven't read their statements ... how convenient. I'd really like to think that it will make a difference and that the government will be discredited, but unfortunately most Australians seem to be thoroughly disinterested so I'm sure you will get away with it.
